Being Natural
I've been looking for a term that can properly express the 'healthy life attitude' I'm trying to convey. I tossed around ideas like 'Getting Real' and 'Genuineness', but none seemed to fit as good as 'Being Natural'.

Perhaps a new word or term can be created that can better encompass the following attitude:

True to form - There's a phrase If we were meant to be unclothed we would have been born that way. that seems to make a lot of sense. Don't get me wrong clothing has been an excellent invention. They protect us from harsh elements, etc. so we need them at times. Unfortunately most people are irrationally dependent on them. They tend to hide behind them, even from themselves. A good example is the swimsuit.

Common sense - Not getting shocked by the mere sight of an unclothed human body. It's only skin. Hollywood does like to portray nudity as sex. This can sway people to believe nudity is somehow bad, dirty or taboo. Is it really true? ... No

Nudity = The unclothed human body
(i.e the human body in its natural form)
          Sex = Sex

Nudity only becomes sexual when erotic behavior takes place.
Know the safe zone and when the line is being crossed.

Unashamed - Realizing that you are just like everyone else. Everyone comes from their own genetic heritage. Everyone is at their own stage of development. It's good to be you.

Being seen - Some have an extreme fear of being seen without clothes as if somehow they will lose a part of themselves. This is not unlike the fear the natives had where they felt they would lose their soul if they were photographed. Is it rational? ... No

Accepting yourself and others - Gaining the ability to see beyond irrational fear.
"body phobia is a disease"        It can be cured.

Clothes-freedom - Meaning it's alright to be unclothed.
(Unless of course there are safety reasons - working with chemicals, harsh weather, etc.)

Sharing - Being able to share the visual beauty of your natural form with others and theirs with you without fear or shame.
Society in general has an unhealthy amount of curiousity about the human body. Such an extreme can become a breeding ground for deviant behavior. Sharing will lessen it.

Body-freedom - Enjoying yourself and the company of others in a state unfettered by the hindrance of clothing.

So the term 'Being Natural' is almost exact, but has the drawback that Natural can imply primitiveness. Well primitive, meaning to be less evolved, is the opposite of what I'm trying to get across. I would say that individuals who can embrace these attitudes would have to be more evolved not less.

Let's help society evolve to the point where 'Being Natural' is common, accepted, and a non-issue.

Enjoy Life, Be Natural
